The Social Venture Canvas was designed in 2012 by Tim Curtis and Shoshana Dzialoszynski, based on the original business model canvas by Osterwalder et al (2010), and modified many times. This version was developed out of designing community interventions, and is specifically created for those social innovators creating solutions that don’t necessarily have ‘business models’ to implement.
